Hi there!

I’m Elizabeth, a Maryland dairy farmer’s daughter who stumbled her way into speaking, writing, and people development through a mixture of accidents, mentors, and lessons learned. I’m passionate about helping others see the best in themselves and giving them tangible tools for how to get there. As someone with experience in working with small businesses, academia, industry, and non-profits, I find it vital that we put our people skills first so that we can make the greatest impact possible together.

I started this blog & website to share some of my stories of my life, lessons I’ve learned the hard way, and to be honest with the world. My main focuses right now are to share my life experiences with others in a way that meets them where they’re at and helps them with what they’re going through. I also have a newsletter if you want to hear more about how to become your best self in a shorter format straight to your email every other week. Subscribe to that here, and you’ll always get to see my most recent blog post through that.

I founded my business, Cultivate Growth Co., to help others become better versions of themselves. Through my business, I offer workshop and keynote presentations, facilitation, emceeing, and online courses for others to develop confidence through connections, skills, and self-awareness.

My superpower is authenticity and keeping it real with agricultural roots. Growing up as a fourth generation farmer, I quickly learned the importance of leaving the world better than we found it, and I believe that’s only possible when we choose to learn and grow together in all areas of life. I love writing, public speaking, cows, traveling, reading, and learning new things.

I hope you will read some of my posts, chime in on some of these topics, and think about things a little differently. Now let’s get to it!
